Because I have chosen to. Simple. I have chosen my parents. I choose
them because they represent something that I have to learn to overcome.
They represent something that I choose to learn. And I start to change
them. Not only with parents this goes with every relation. I want to
change the person. We want to transform him and then we will start
loving him. But there is nothing outside of the mind. We forget the
lessons we came to learn. And so for lifetimes after lifetimes we come
and try to transform others. We fight them as we feel we are right and
that becomes our righteousness our habit our karma. (Resistance of the
other person will go with your confidence). But there is nothing
outside of the mind and nothing right nothing wrong, all dogmas that we
have picked up to feel adequate from parents. Only thing in fact the
only thing to remember is whatever you give out comes back to you. So
we now see the irony of all this. We are fighting them because they
represent what we have to learn and we are resisting that because of
our ego or righteousness. So when we get comments like we are no good
we clamp up. We live with that for the rest of our lives trying to
disprove what our parents said about us. We are riding a tiger and do
not know how to get off it. And we will not get off till something
jolts us to tell us hey where are you heading do you even know the
place? Most of us will still ignore.
But yes life is actually that simple. That is the reason children are
able to enjoy it so much till we spoil it for them. Look at animals.
They do not even know the meaning of some of the diseases we have
invented like depression.
